Amazing. I don't know what else to say.

Aaron here.

I can talk too much... that said, if you want the tl;dr version (google it, if you don't know what it means!)... here it is: working hard, learning lots, not much sightseeing for me, work hours are later, thankful, looking forward to seeing more places, excited about vacay in .it in Nov!

I decided it was a good time for me to put something up here. My title pretty much covers it. Yes, we're here in Europe. We've been for 2 weeks now. Starting the 3rd week.

As a good friend said, "the time will fly by, before you know it", and it certainly has. If you would have asked me 3 years ago, if I was going to end up in this place in my life... I would have laughed.

My employer has been very generous in letting Brenda come over with me, among other things. It's a HUGE blessing.

The work hours are later than I'm used to, but this team over here has a different dynamic, and they've been fantastic to work with. The work is very challenging, but that's exactly what I want and need.

It's made for much later nights, but this has had a good effect on my health. I'm eating less, and meals are more spread out. My blood sugar has been much lower, and with getting more exercise due to walking a lot more... it's been VERY good.

This has been my first trip to Europe. We've been to Netherlands, Germany so far. We have plans for France. I was just talking to Brenda tonight about maybe renting a car and going down south through Belgium and Luxembourg. Even just to say we've been, we don't have to go to all the ritzy places. Neither one of us knows if/when we'll get another opportunity to do something like this again. :)

I miss our friends... especially on Sundays... but I'm going to stay busy and enjoy the time here while I've got it.

I can't even begin to say how much better this trip is, since Brenda is here...

I really enjoy travelling, but there's a point when you're doing it alone, where it gets empty. It's such a blessing to have someone to come home to, that loves me as much as she does.

What a way to motivate a man to work hard. God is good. :)
